Sonshine Academy
Sonshine Preschool Academy is a mission of Faith Lutheran Church as a community outreach and service to those in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, and the surrounding area. We are dedicated to providing quality, Christ-centered education to three and four-year-olds in a Christian environment.

What is Lent?
Lent is a time in the church year for remembering.  Remembering my sins.  Remembering I cannot pay the price for my sins.  Remembering how much God loves each of us to send His one and only son Jesus to take the punishment for MY sins.  Remembering why Jesus had to die.  Lent is a time of prayer and meditation.  Lent begins with Ash Wednesday.  Join us for Ash Wednesday service, March 5 at 7:00pm.

Midweek Lenten services
Lenten services every Wednesday evening, March 5- April 9, beginning at 7:00pm.
Preschool registration OPEN for any class, any year
If you would like to register your child for preschool, email [email protected] for a form, or call 319-385-7336 to make an appointment to stop by and chat.  It is never too early to register your child.  Our school year runs from Labor Day to Memorial Day.  ​
